Jan had the joy of recently visiting the United Nations
in New York City. She spoke to members of the UN
on behalf of her foundation, Smile of a Child, which
provides toys, medical facilities and humanitarian aid
to needy children throughout the world.
Jan was accompanied to the UN by
Matt and Laurie, and Dr. J. Scott
Moore and his wife, Traci, who helped
arrange her meetings with UN officials.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Jan and Laurie shared a poignant moment in front of the
Golden Rule mosaic located in the United Nations building.
