“Enlarge the place of thy tent . . . let them stretch forth . . . thine habitations. . . . For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left!” ~ Isaiah 54:2-3
HALLELUJAH! The Mississippi River divides four major cities and we have “broken forth” on both sides! Yes — on the east: Galesburg and Rock Island, Illinois; on the west: Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa! So, rejoice for full power WMWC Channel 53 covering over one million new souls with your TBN EVERYWHERE! Our engineers tell us that our new station is so powerful that we can also say, “It plays in Peoria”!
The glorious news — go ahead and shout — your TBN now reaches 98% plus households in the good old USA! Now we will pull out all the stops in getting all 20 TBN networks on cable, dish satellite and the internet. Actually, we have 12 networks streaming into our iPhone/iPad app and 12 networks in our Android app, plus 10 networks streaming on the tbn.org web site. Then there’s iTBN, our on-demand video archives featuring thousands of TBN’s classic old programs (with more being added daily) on all these platforms as well.
Praise God, with the USA virtually covered, we can now drive ever deeper into the rest of the world.
How about Tanzania, East Africa? TBN is now the licensee for all, YES, ALL TV in this major country of over 20 million souls! Even the secular broadcasters have to go through TBN and of course all religious broadcasters! Even better news: Other African countries are contacting us to establish their national TV networks! This will literally make TBN the FCC for entire nations! So, let’s WALK ON WATER (WOW)! Yes, doors are opening that we could not have dreamed of 40 years ago!
Speaking of the rest of the world — your new studio building in London, England is under full renovation. Four major studios will produce English, Arabic, Farsi, and other languages for Europe and the Middle East. Matthew declares we will send Praise the Lord from England sometime before summer! Europe is already rejoicing and anxiously awaiting more local continental programming.
On to Jerusalem where your new studio building is also taking shape for Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and English programming! How we rejoiced last September as we signed the purchase documents for the building and land on — yes, you heard it — the Hill of Grace! The view is spectacular. Mt. Zion, Mt. Moriah and the Mt. of Olives seem close enough to touch! The wall of honor with many of your names on it is being designed. We need many more love gifts to complete the studio equipment. If you help with this historic ministry, be sure to write “JERUSALEM” on your pledge or gift so your name will be included.
The Shalom Channel is exploding with Russian, Hebrew and English programming into all of Israel. With the Hot Bird 8 satellite, TBN’s Al-Horreya (Freedom Channel) Arabic language network completes coverage into the whole nation of Israel. Pastors of Messianic churches throughout Israel report glorious new growth in their congregations. Praise the Lord — Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in ways that truly amaze us! Praise God, together we are fulfilling a glorious part of Isaiah’s prophecy. Read and rejoice:
“Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.” Isaiah 55:5
Yes, beloved partners, we are on the home stretch — our 40th year is just ahead! Let’s keep on enlarging the place of our habitations…. Let’s keep breaking forth on the “right hand and on the left” (Isa. 54:2-3)!
Jan and I send all our love, now 40 years long and strong. Will you be our Valentines? We will surely be yours! Your letters of love and encouragement mean everything to us!
