Announcing the birth of "THE CHURCH CHANNEL" Another ANGEL proclaiming the Good News! ANOTHER ANGEL IS BORN! "SUDDENLY, THE ANGEL WAS JOINED BY A VAST HOST OF OTHERSPRAISING GOD: 'GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN,' THEY SANG, 'AND ON EARTH, PEACE, AND GOOD WILL TO MEN." Luke 2:13-14 [PICTURE CAPTION: Many will now be able to attend great CHURCH SERVICES 24 hours a day through THE CHURCH CHANNEL -- another whole network proclaiming the Good News of JESUS. When you pay your cable bill, be sure to ask them to "PLEASE ADD THE CHURCH CHANNEL."] Yes, ANOTHER ANGEL, another heavenly host, to praise God for the birth of JESUS our Savior! Just a few days ago we threw yet another BIG SWITCH, and together, we dedicated THE CHURCH CHANNEL! One more satellite is now beaming down to earth -- this time, not TBN, but another whole network! Praise the Lord! TBN is full -- there are only 24 hours in a day! So, how do we add more and more good Christian TV programs? Simple -- build another whole channel -- another whole network! The Church Channel will have the very best of the great church services, plus other great programs. Sing it, Mike Purkey -- "LET'S HAVE CHURCH!" And who is the Church? WE ARE! Luke 2:14 Yes, together, we get to tell the greatest news in all history -- JESUS THE SAVIOR IS BORN! I know there will be many questions -- "How can I see The Church Channel? When can I see it? Will I need special TV equipment, etc.?" Let me begin. First of all, it will be primarily a new cable TV channel, although we expect it to be carried on the DBS satellites that TBN is already on -- perhaps not immediately, but sometime next year. With the new DIGITAL TV technology upon us, most of the cable TV stations are upgrading and adding many more channels. In time, we hope to add The Church Channel to all the major cable systems in America. This will take some time, so many of us will not be able to receive it immediately. The Wise Men brought gold, frankincense and myrrh, but we bring something far more valuable -- another great VOICE that will tell this good news to multitudes: "HE IS BORN -- HE IS RISEN -- HE IS YOUR SAVIOR!" And, as a result, precious souls -- not gold -- will be laid at Jesus' feet! Praise God! I'm about to get HAPPY again! The shepherd boys were the first to tell the glad tidings. Millions have told through the centuries -- for many, at the cost of their lives. Two thousand years later, we have the GREAT JOY of telling the world: "HE HAS COME;" but, just as important: "HE IS COMING AGAIN!" [PICTURE CAPTION: "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" and THERE WAS LIGHT! -- Over THREE MILLION Christmas lights flashed ON at Trinity Christian City International, in CALIFORNIA; at the International Production Center, in TEXAS; and at Trinity Music City, in TENNESSEE in honor of Jesus' 2000th birthday! These beautiful lights and Christmas displays will be ON every evening from now through the month of January for you to enjoy! "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!" is brilliantly displayed in lights at each facility, and all of our TBN TV studios have beautiful, large nativity scenes! Bring family, friends, church groups, seniors -- EVERYONE is invited to come and be blessed this holiday season! What a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our Savior, JESUS, who is THE LIGHT of the WORLD! ] Ah, dear Partners, this could be our last Christmas.
