1991, we met the President of Nicaragua, Mrs. Violetta de Chamorro
(center, holding Caylan), who immediately gave TBN/Enlace permission
to build stations.

In 1991, we met with President Violetta
de Chamorro of Nicaragua (pictured here holding our grandson
Caylan). Following that meeting, Mrs. Chamorro directed the Minister
of Communications to grant TBN a TV station permit THAT VERY
DAY for MANAGUA, NICARAGUA! By 1997, 24-hour, Spanish language
Christian TV covered ALL of Latin America via SATELLITE!
