On February 17, 2009, all full-power TV stations
in the U.S. will switch from analog and begin 100%
digital broadcasting. If you are currently receiving your
television signal over-the-air with an outside antenna
and/or “rabbit ears,” you will be affected. The good
news is you can still use your analog TV set—
but you will need to buy a TV converter box.**
Discount Coupons Are Available: The U.S. Congress
created the TV Converter Box Coupon Program
for households wishing to keep using their analog TV sets after February 17, 2009.
The Program allows U.S.
households to obtain up to two coupons, each worth
$40, which can be applied toward the cost of eligible
TV converter boxes.
How To Apply For A TV Converter Box Coupon:
Until March 31, 2009, you can request a coupon while
