This past March, Jan was overjoyed when Dr. Fernande Allonce called TBN to find out if Jan would like to join her in the Dominican Republic as a guest of the Haitian Ambassador, Mr. Cinéas, to meet His Excellency Réne Garcia Préval, the new president of Haiti.

Jan had the honor of personally presenting President Préval with a beautiful gift on behalf of Smile of a Child, which she had inscribed with the following message:

On Your Election As President of Haiti —
The Miracle For Haiti’s’ Glorious Future Has Begun With You.”
