On Saturday, 15 May at 1 PM Central European time, and following an approximately 30 minute service loss for technical adjustments, TBN Europe will cease transmission in analog on Hotbird 6 transponder 153 and began digital service for 5 of our Networks. These channels include:
TBN Europe
JCTV
The Church Channel
TBNE Italian Language Service
TBNE Spanish Language Service
Viewers must now have a digital receiver capable of reception of MPEG II DVB transmissions. Our transmission will be free-to-air. These receivers must be set to receive the frequency of 11.566 Mhz with polarization horizontal a symbol rate of 27.5 MegaSymbols and FEC of 3/4. The receiver will present a list of service names, which are exactly the names of the channels for the viewer to choose. Alternatively they can
scan Hotbird 6 and the new TBN digital channels will be automatically added.
