KING OF KINGS
This time-honored movie depicts the Roman might under General Pompey in conquering Judea in 63 BC, a time of despair and fear for the Jews. In trials unbelievable, Jews suffered under Roman rule, particularly that of King Herod. Yet the Messianic hope broke through in Christ. During the reign of Augustus, Christ was born in the village of Bethlehem. Some believed in His person and mission.
