(EUGENE, OREGON) --- Polara Productions' children's series, Nanna's Cottage, featuring a series of interstitials known as Monster Sunday School, debuts on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and on its kids network Smile of a Child TV, this Saturday, October 7, at 7:30 am PT / 10:30 am ET.
The Monster Sunday School interstitials features loveable, fuzzy monster puppets, contain simple Bible story lessons.
The skits are designed to be a fun and gentle learning experience to help kids understand the importance of good character.”
“Nanna's Cottage is a part of a line up that TBN strives for,” said Brenda Rossman, a programming executive for TBN. “This new, colorful, highly educational and interactive series along with its energetic characters, fun songs and lovable puppets is sure to please both parents and children alike.”
Nanna’s Cottage fills a void left by the departure of popular children’s shows of the past. With a loveable female character at the helm, Nanna’s Cottage radiates the same spirited, joyful, and gentle learning experience that outstanding, classic programming such as Captain Kangaroo and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood developed their reputations upon.
Nanna’s Cottage was developed for children ages 4 to 9.
Nanna's Cottage features Abigale “Nanna” Macaroon (Rachael Rizzo), a 75-year old grandmother who imparts love and wisdom to her granddaughter and her friends. The first season of Nanna's Cottage started production in February 2006, and is filmed in high definition at the state-of-the-art Chambers Media Center in Eugene, Oregon.
