By WDC Media News
LOS ANGELES (February 16, 2006) --- There’s a new look at the flagship studios of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the world’s largest religious network and America’s most watched faith channel.
Paul Crouch, Jr., Vice President of TBN, announced that work has been completed on an exciting new design at the studio used for production of TBN’s “Praise the Lord” program, which is broadcast daily to millions of viewers worldwide.
“This new design represents the innovative steps we’re taking here at TBN to ensure the continued success and far-reaching impact of faith-based broadcasting across America and around the world,” said Crouch. “For over 30 years TBN has been providing the very best in quality faith-based programming, and this new standard is a prime example of our commitment to provide our viewers with a quality television experience.”
On a recent edition of TBN’s “Behind the Scenes” broadcast, Crouch gave viewers a sneak peek at the fresh new design they’ll be enjoying on future “Praise the Lord” programs and other TBN features. The new set includes a breathtaking panorama of the California landscape that surrounds TBN’s Costa Mesa facility, along with soft hues and modern furniture designed to give the set a hip, inviting new flavor.
“We’re excited about a new generation of viewers who are tuning in to TBN’s inspirational and entertaining programming,” explained Crouch. “Our updated set is designed to be a welcoming new look for all our family of TBN viewers.”
Crouch noted that in addition to the new set look, TBN has upgraded its flagship studios to the latest High Definition (HD) production technology, which is the new standard for television programming. “Cable providers across the country are now asking for programming that is shot in HD format,” explained Crouch, “and this transition means TBN is now technically on the cutting edge of television production.”
He added that the new technology offers TBN opportunities to get its quality faith-based programming into new cable and digital venues. “Believe me, we didn’t just do this to be cool and up to date,” explained Crouch. “This has been a labor of love for everyone here at TBN in an effort to expand our vision to offer the best inspirational programming to an ever-increasing number of cable and television formats.”
The new set and HD format will be officially debuted during TBN’s Spring Telethon April 17th through the 21st. The facility will be used for production of the network’s “Praise the Lord” show, other exclusive TBN programs, and special features.
