TBN's JUCE TV Youth Network Rolls out New Studios, New Look, Fresh Vision for Reaching Teens and Young Adults

LOS ANGELES (February 9, 2015) — In 2002 a new positive youth network exploded onto the broadcast landscape as an innovative alternative to the questionable programming teens and young adults are routinely being exposed to through youth-targeted channels like MTV and VH-1 and through some major networks.

JCTV, launched by Christian television giant Trinity Broadcasting Network, had a different goal — not merely to entertain, but to inspire and challenge young people to find their purpose and future through faith in God. That vision resonated in television households across America, as moms, dads, and millions of teens and young adults discovered in JCTV's programming a refreshing alternative to the broadcast wasteland of network and cable television.

Thirteen years later TBN's exclusive youth network has a new name — JUCE TV — along with a fresh new look, new state-of-the-art studios, and a renewed passion to reach teens and young adults with the message that faith in God is relevant and important to their everyday lives.

Today JUCE TV is available in millions of homes across America, and is one of five exclusive TBN channels multi-cast over the air 24 hours a day in 37 major cities across the U.S. It is also available to hundreds of millions of viewers internationally, as well as through the special JUCE viewer app on iPhones, smart phones, and other mobile devices. In fact, JUCE TV is one of the few networks that streams live 24 hours a day, rather than merely offering a few select programs.

“When we launched this network back in 2002 there was very little on TV to inspire and motivate teens and young adults in their faith,” recalled JUCE TV program director Mark McCallie. “Right from the beginning we were the only faith-friendly television network geared for youth that featured entertainment-driven programming that was embedded with biblical truths. And we provided a national platform for contemporary Christian artists and bands, as well as individuals and ministries that were effectively using music, actions sports, and other formats to reach a broad cross-section of 'millennial' viewers.”

Fast-forward to 2015, and JUCE TV continues to positively impact teens and young adults around the world with its exciting combination of the latest in music videos from top contemporary Christian bands and artists, action sports from top athletes, clean comedy, relevant talk, movies, and more — 24 hours a day.

“We've just completed a massive update of our studios and look,” said McCallie. “We've got some fresh hosts and top guests for our hit shows like Real VideosXtreme LifeTX10, and Top 3. And there are some exciting new programs and specials coming up in the months ahead.”

He added, however, that the mission of JUCE TV remains the same as when the network first launched, “and that is to positively, powerfully impact today's youth with the message of the gospel, and to show them through music and through cutting-edge programming they can relate to that God is seriously interested in every aspect of their lives.”
