The Church Goes Mobil


TBN Leads the Way with Inspirational Content-to-Mobile

 (Los Angeles) --Trinity Broadcasting Network has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with the British Company JH2 Media to offer TBN network content directly to mobile phones.

The new TBN offering will include downloadable clips of exclusive TBN movies and special broadcast features.

"Every businessman and nearly every individual and family has a cell phone," said Bob Higley, TBN’s Vice President of cable and satellite relations. "With content-to-mobile exploding in the U.S market, faith-based programming is a natural for this venue," says Higley.

TBN plans to introduce the content-to-mobile service in May with exclusive clips from the inspirational films "The Revolutionary," about the life of Christ, and "The Emissary," about the life of the Apostle Paul.

"TBN has earned a solid reputation as being the market leader in the production of major Christian movies," announced Paul Crouch Jr., Vice President of Administration. "It’s only fitting that our first two ‘content-to-mobil’ inspirational clips would be part of TBN’s cinematic achievements in film."

Susan Zahn, an expert in faith-based media and founder of the public relations firm WDC Media, said that TBN’s latest broadcast strategy is another sterling example of how TBN continues to rewrite the rules of media engagement in a market hungry for value-laden content."

Jennifer Hughes, CEO of JH2 Media says: "JH2 Media is excited to partner with TBN to provide the best in Christian visual content directly to mobile phones. Through our JH2 Mobile Media Suite TBN will be able to provide busy, on-the-go believers with the same quality inspirational visuals they have enjoyed at home."

TBN expects eventually to offer direct-to-mobile content from all five of its faith-based television networks – TBN Flagship Network, JCTV, the Church Channel, TBN Enlace USA, and Smile of a Child TV.
