Trinity Broadcasting Network Vice President Matthew Crouch Calls Christians to Pray for Peace in Israel and Gaza

Submitted by Anonymous on

LOS ANGELES (July 16, 2014) — Matthew Crouch, Vice President of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, issued the following statement calling on believers across the world to pray for peace in Israel and Gaza:

“As violence and conflict continue to escalate across Israel, we believe that the body of Christ has a responsibility to pray for the peace of this land that is so dear to the heart of God.

“Since our beginnings over forty years ago, TBN has taken to heart God's promise to bless those who bless Israel. Today, through our 20,000 square foot studio in the heart of Jerusalem, prayers for peace — along with the good news of the “Prince of Peace” — go out across the nation.

“As crisis and conflict continue to loom in Israel and Gaza, we call for believers and congregations throughout the world to join us in petitioning God for His mercy and protection over the individuals and families — both Arabs and Jews — caught in the violence, for His comfort over those who have lost loved ones, and for peace to return to this land that God calls His own.”
