Senior Pastor of Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda,
California is the first black female pastor and the first Senior
Pastor in her denomination. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor
of Religion at Loma Linda University Faculty of Religion. An internationally
acclaimed preacher and prolific writer, Dr. Williams is the author
of many articles, short stories and two books.
I n 1980, following a dramatic conversation from an atheist, during
a successful political career as Executive Assistant to the Mayor
of Hartford, Connecticut, Pastor Williams responded to God's call
to the ministry. Dr. Williams left her successful political career
to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in theology from Columbia
Union College in Takoma Park, MD., her Master of Divinity from Andrews
University Theological Seminary in Michigan., and a Doctor of Ministry
degree from Boston University School of Theology in Massachusetts.
She also holds a Fellowship from the Episcopal College of Preachers
at the National Cathedral in Washington DC.
Listen to the incredible story of this former cigar-smoking, hard-drinking,
profane woman who pursued fame and fortune with passionate intensity.
The victim of childhood sexual abuse, she decided at an early age
that no God would allow a little girl to suffer as she had, and
so as an adult, embraced atheism. Learn how God sought His lost
child, found her and transformed her life into one of His spokespersons
who gladly proclaims the Good News of grace.
