Building A Difference
Can you imagine thousands of people somewhere in your own city, maybe even your own neighborhood, whose homes are literally deteriorating right before their very eyes . . . and can do absolutely nothing about it? We're not talking about simple home maintenance. We're talking about failing roofs, dangerous electrical systems and floors falling through.
Who are the people that live in these conditions? Many are our elderly, widowed and disabled folks with such low income, they're barely surviving. They can only do the best they can while they silently suffer as prisoners in their own home.
The Bible says in 1Timothy 5:5 "the widow who is really in need and left alone prays night and day for God to send help." And, all over the world today, there are great organizations and ministries that have been "sent" to accept the call of addressing this on-going problem.
These heartfelt servants are truly BUILDING A DIFFERENCE in the lives of people in need. This series . . . is about them.
