{{Clifton Davis}} We always see the hype and the news worthiness when somebody messes up, but they don't say anything when you get right. {{Todd Bridges}} Since 1983 I've been strong. I go to a lot of schools and talk about drug addiction and talk about not being violent and talk about how a teen can get his life together without having sex before marriage keeping that right. Because you never really learn about a relationship if you're having sex too early. A relationship is built on one another talking without having sex, and a lot of kids think it's about getting that and it's not. Building firm foundation and relationships. Christ has taught me and wants to teach young people. Somebody has to get the message out that's gone through it. I'm lucky to be around. It's only through God's blessing that I'm here. Not because of me. It's because of Christ. Sometimes we minister to 800-900 kids and one kid, God will put a light on him, and I'll go on that kid. That kid will come back and that maybe the only kid I saved out of everybody and that's all that really counts.

Killing Willis
We sold my life story as a feature film. This time it will be told without having someone trying to tell it. It can be told from the horse's mouth. What will happen is people will see I'm not this creation they created. I'm a human being and I grew up in the 60's and 70's in a very racist community and very racist country, and I was treated like I wasn't when I was working. When I was out in the world, I was treated like an African American gets treated, which isn't very good. That's what the movie is going to show. A lot of stuff of what I went through, Having an alcoholic father, going through child molestation and things that happen that leads up to a person becoming who he is to get to the greener pasture, Because God only puts on you what you can handle. I really believe that. God gave me an opportunity to minister to people not everybody can minister to. It's a gift in itself. That's why you can't stop what you're going to go through, but when you get to that side what you're going to do. My film will show people you can get out of that. You don't have to stay in there. You don't have to live in that kind of lifestyle. You can come out through Christ and make it. That's what's important. The title is kind of dark: Killing Willis. That's the title. The director we have locked in is suppose to, Robert Townson is going to direct it. It's going to be really deep. It will show a lot of things, crazy things to get to the light side of it. But God doesn't want to save the perfect person. He needs to save the ones out in the world to bring them back in. That's what he's done with me.

Family
I know [my wife] feels great about where my career is going now. Our careers are going in the same direction. She's very excited about that. Our life is being changed through Christ, but at the same time we're allowing Christ to change our lives. That's the most important thing. She is stubborn like I am at times, which usually people end up together. Very strong. I couldn't have a wimpy girl. I would run all over her. My wife is very strong and tell me where to go any day of the week. If I said something crazy, she would say, 'what?' We'd have to go in a room with gloves. She's very strong lady. And that's what I needed. And then I got this son who is the both of us. He's two and a half. But he's strong. He's aggressive. And a con-man. The other day my son pulls the doorknob off. I don't know what he was doing. And he comes in there and he knows he'll get in trouble. He said this. "Daddy," hands me the knob and "sorry." I looked at him and started laughing. It was the funniest thing I ever seen in my life. You can't get mad. He gives me that smile so I can't get mad at him. And I put the doorknob back on and I say, 'I tell you what boy...' Faith plays a great deal, because she came all the way out with no family from Georgia to come to LA to get married and live with me. She had a lot of faith. She had to see something further than what I saw. {{Clifton Davis asks:}} Did she get negative faith from her family? {{Todd Bridges responds:}} Definitely. Because she's white. Not just from her family but from other people in her community. That's the reality of it. When I went to Atlanta, I wasn't choosing to fall in love. That wasn't my point. When I went to the Christian play I had a lot of fun and a lot of girlfriends, and God showed me. God got me. Went down there and fell in love. She said, "If I come to LA, we have to get married." 'I'm like Married? Shoot.' I still wanted to be the player type of guy. All players must die and become a good family man. And this is the happiest I've been. I've never really known how to truly give my love until these last two years, and I'm learning to be a great husband and father. It's a learning process. I'm actually doing a pretty good job at it. I'm able to show affection.

Life in Christ
I had to go to Christ and Christ has been guiding me and tooling me and showing me a whole other way. It's great. At times I don't have money, and I'm still happy. Times may get rough, but it's okay. I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. When you're not in this walk, you don't realize that yes, I may be going through this today, but this is not forever. Christ is going to come in and do a miracle no one will understand. That's what he's been doing with me. He did a miracle with me. He did a miracle with me! And people don't get it. I'm eight years clean and sober. I've been out of trouble for five years without any problems. 'What has happened to this guy? He's not the same guy he used to be.' And I'm able to walk away from problems.
