Interview Topics:
God has really visited our family.
My mom ... had a girl first, and in our culture, if you have a girl first it's kind of demeaning.
You have to have a boy in our eastern culture.
When my mom had a girl she was rejected by my father's side.
She prayed, "God give me sons.
Give me boys that will lift You up and would honor You, and You would honor them."
Then Benny was born.
Cris was born then William and me.
Bunch of boys.
Let me say that the power of God is what got me saved.
Because I made fun of my brother Benny.
I'll tell you the truth.
I made fun of him.
I didn't believe in this stuff.
This guy was crazy.
Tells us he got saved--
I said,"Saved from what?"
We didn't understand saved.
So I made fun of him.
This was 25 years ago.
Now I see what the Lord doing to all my brothers and family.
We're four preachers.
And my mom who prayed us in.
My mother really prayed me in.
I failed grade seven three times.
Three times I failed grade seven in school.
My brother Sam was in my class and he's three years younger than me, and I told everybody, he was my twin brother.
I got kicked out of school and got messed up on drugs and everything else.
In the meantime my brother Benny was an evangelist, famous, known in Canada and people would always say, "Are you Benny Hinn's brother?" and I would say 'no.'
They would say what's your name?
And I said Henry Hien.
I changed my last name from Hinn to Hien.
I would deny completely that my brother was Benny Hinn.
Now they say is your brother Benny Hinn?
It makes you laugh.
People you know, I'm just being honest.
My mom would pray and she would stick oil in my shoe.
She would stick oil in my car.
She put oil, man, she would sew a piece of thread and cloth on my underwear and ask God that I sit on the oil that I would be delivered from drugs.
She would pray that God would set me free.
And it was the anointing that really set me free.
It was my mom's prayer that set me free.
I had the privilege of traveling with my brother Benny, even yet I have my own ministry, and we have our church and crusades and television.
I've always gone freely, and the last year and a half my job is go down where the sick are and pray with the sick and bring them up.
The miracles I see are unbelievable.
A million, over a million people in Nairobi, and here is TBN that's there.
That's why we're seeing a million people in attendance.
It's all from television.
It's so powerful.
A lady sitting down in a wheelchair way in the back in the sand.
Nobody can see her.
Nobody knows where she is.
She's among the crowd.
Her wheelchair is so high.
She has a tumor as big as a football in her back--unable to move.
I go down there and look for the sick and pray for them and just encourage them.
The presence of God in these crusades is what heals the sick.
But there is a peak that takes place, there's a certain peak, I call it the 'miracle peak' where my brother leads worship, leads the presence of God, leads worship where the presence of God comes, and there is, there's about maybe less than ten minutes, 15 minutes, I call it the time of miracles.
If you know the peek it reaches, that's when people receive.
That lady in a wheelchair was back there with this tumor big huge wheelchair.
She could only move with her hands.
The wheels are in her hands, huge.
Here she sees her sitting there crying among the crowd, and she's screaming.
I go down there sand all over my shoes.
A million people squeeze.
Here's God almighty, the Lord himself, you feel His presence out there and this lady's tumor falls off the wheelchair and bursts behind her in the wheelchair and I get the privilege of seeing people who are sick and seeing them healed.
And what a privilege that is for me to be able to see what God is doing.
The Lord, he loves.
He loves those who need him.
And when I first cried out to the Lord 25 years ago and I said I need you.
I want to know you, he heard our cry.
The Bible says when we look up to him, he will respond to us.
And right now, wherever you are, if you're in pain and sometimes it's not funny.
The pain is hurtful.
The Bible says when you cry out to the Lord, he will hear you.
He will heal you.
He will deliver you.
And right now wherever you are, anywhere you are right now, let's believe God for God to respond and touch you.
Father, I pray in Jesus' name for every person...
Lord I ask you to reach out right now where they are and touch them, deliver them, heal them.
Father, let your power, let your healing anointing flow through the airways and touch every life and deliver every life in Jesus' name, Amen.
