Receptionist

The Station Receptionist is the first contact for KPJR DT Channel 38. This person will provide support in whatever capacity is required to assist the Station Manager to meet the needs of the station. Job entails answering phones, monitoring the entrance, greeting and assisting guests, opening and processing mail, creating documentation for productions, creating and maintaining orderly files, organizing and managing love gifts and office supplies, doing mailings as needed, preparing rooms before productions, assisting in production if and when needed, providing weekly reports to the Station Manager regarding how time was spent and accomplishments, with expected goals for the next week and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, guests and the public. Organizational skills, word processing and computer proficiency are required. Additional skills include knowledge of business office procedures, good writing skills, typing, operating fax and photocopy machines, and the ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED. Prefer at least one year work experience in an office setting. Previous experience in television/video production or public affairs a plus. This is a full time position starting at 32 hours a week with benefits included.

Full time position responsible for developing system for numbering, storing and tracking video programs, spots and segments, and for creating system to track and manage digital assets. Also responsible for archiving older programs. Experience with media and video libraries a must, including experience with software like Xytech or Crystal. Degree in Library Science and/or experience with .net or .sql code writing a plus.

Seeking Full-Time Secretary/Public Affairs coordinator. This person is needed for a 24/7 Christian television station, Trinity Broadcasting Network-WHLV DT Channel 51 in the Cocoa/Orlando area. Skills desired are a proficiency of computer software programs, MS office suite, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes 7.0. Must have knowledge of daily office duties and comfortable with basic office equipment. Office Administration, basic bookkeeping, petty cash, P.O.’s and filing. Assisting the Station Manager in station duties and will provide support in whatever capacity is required to meet the stations needs, a strong customer service background is a plus.
