Francis and Clare of Assisi
This program takes viewers back to the Middle Ages to explore the fascinating life stories of Francis and Clare of Assisi. Leaving their everyday lives to devote themselves to God, both played large roles in establishing new religious orders. A close follower of Francis, Clare started the Order of Poor Ladies, an organized group of women, who, like her, had abandoned wealth and privilege in pursuit of God. The stories of both historic figures re brought to life here through stunning cinematography and original medieval music.
