The Long Way Home
An escaped convict (David Carradine) befriends Ramey (Lance Kerwin), a thirteen year old and his father (Glenn Ford) a poor preacher and his family in the rural South during the 1930's. They are suspicious of him but deal with him in a Godly manner. When the preacher learns the truth about him he uses the wisdom and guidance of the Lord to help the convict turn his life around as he is returned to the authorities.
