Unlikely Angel-Dolly Parton
When brassy lounge singer, Ruby Diamond (Parton) accidentally drives her car off a cliff, she meets St. Peter (McDowell) at the Pearly Gates. Peter wants to send Ruby back because she hasn't earned her "wings." He notes that Ruby has only looked out for herself her whole life and he assigns her to help out a family in distress. St. Peter gives her until Christmas to earn her "wings" before she will be welcomed into heaven.
