Reaching New Nations — and Generations — with God's Hope and Grace
Our good friend Pastor Robert Morris recently did something significant on TBN’s Praise program that represents a major focus of TBN’s broadcast outreach in the days ahead.
While sitting with Laurie and me on a barebones set in the middle of our under-construction Dallas production facility, he looked into our cameras and gave a powerful invitation for young people to make Jesus Savior and Lord. “I’m asking you to do what I did when I was nineteen years old,” he said. “Someone back then said to me, ‘Robert, you believe in Jesus, but have you ever given Him control of your life?’ And when I did that, everything changed.”
As I watched Pastor Robert respond to God in this divinely appointed moment, I realized that what he was doing was really a prophetic picture of what God has called TBN to do in the coming years — pour the hope and grace of Jesus into the next generation.
My father Paul Crouch spent decades building towers, antennas, and other hardware necessary to take life-changing Christian programming to every corner of the earth. Through the hard-fought battles he waged — combined with today’s global digital footprint — TBN’s reach is now nearly universal. And because of that, our task today as the “software generation” is to fill every one of those broadcast platforms with compelling content that will impact new generations with the message of salvation, hope, and healing through Jesus.
I believe this is the “even greater” Jesus is referring to in John 14:12 (NIV), to go into all the world and reach every nation — and every generation — with the good news of His love. That is why, right now, we are building production studios in strategic places around the world, including Poland, South Africa, Italy, Israel, and right here in the U.S. In the years ahead these facilities will fill every broadcast platform with life-changing content that leads untold millions around the world to faith in Christ.
