As followers of Christ, we wage a spiritual war against our flesh.
Life is so unpredictable, and the battles we face are uncharted waters that throw us to and fro. It’s easy to feel weak in the midst of these battles.
How do we renew our strength in God? We are image bearers of our Creator. Therefore, God reminds us that our strength comes from Him alone.
1 Peter 5:7 declares: Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Let’s meditate on this. Our Father reminds us that the burdens we carry are not ours to carry.
God says:
Look at the world around you, it is broken but I am the God who mends. I am the God who does the impossible. I am the God who breaks chains. I am the God who makes miracles. I am the God who heals. I am the God who redeems. I am the God who uses you for more than what your mind can conceive, and more than what your heart desires. I am the God who saves. I am the God of love. I am the God of peace. I am the God of reconciliation. I am the God who sees.
I see you; I hear you; I know you intimately.
Remember, the battle has been won. Satan has been defeated. All power, glory, and honor go to the Father, Maker of heaven and earth, Maker of the skies, and the intricate seas.
When you feel defeated, God wants you to know that He holds your heart in His hands. God fights for you in your weakness. God sees the big picture. Our sight is limited but rest assured God’s picture for your life is greater than anything you can ever imagine. “But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!” (John 10:10 TPT)
Be encouraged!
God will never stop fighting for us and will renew us with His strength for eternity!
