God is with us in this storm, and His power is unmatched.
Our recent days through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have proven challenging, to say the least.
In his sermon “A Shelter in the Storms of Life,” Dr. David Jeremiah references Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4 and brings us this word of encouragement: “That He will be with you is the most certain fact of your life.”
The promise of God’s presence to His people is recorded throughout Scripture:
God to Joshua: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Jesus to the eleven disciples: “…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 (NIV)
Hebrews 13:5 (NIV): “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Yes, today, you can take comfort in the fact that He is with us in this storm, and His power is unmatched.
