The Trilogy Digital Platforms team serves several networks and enterprises with state-of-the-art streaming products and web services. (Dr. Phil’s Merit Street, PBR, Positiv TV, Theatrical Film Releases, etc.)
TDP is looking for an eCommerce Manager who will oversee the management and optimization of commerce technologies that drive donations, merchandise sales, and theatrical release ticket sales across multiple digital platforms. This role will be responsible for creating seamless, user-friendly online experiences that maximize revenue, engagement, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing integrated eCommerce systems that handle a diverse range of transactions, including charitable giving, product purchases, and event ticketing.
The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge in web systems, a digital-first approach to the customer journey, a working knowledge of agile methodologies and is detail-oriented. This position will report to the Sr Director of DCx and supervises collaborates with a collection of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- eCommerce Platform Management:
- Manage and optimize the company’s eCommerce platform(s) to support donations, merchandise sales, and ticket sales for theatrical releases.
- Ensure that the platform efficiently captures and processes transactions, providing a secure and seamless experience for donors, customers, and event-goers.
- Lead the integration and implementation of technologies like payment gateways, donation platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure systems are properly configured for ticketing, merchandise sales, and donations.
- Digital Donations Management:
- Oversee the setup and optimization of online donation systems, ensuring ease of use for donors, as well as security and compliance with financial regulations.
- Analyze donor behavior and trends to identify opportunities for optimizing donation funnels and increasing engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and fundraising teams to develop digital campaigns that drive charitable giving through the platform.
- Merchandise Sales Management:
- Manage online merchandising operations, ensuring that products are accurately listed, well-represented, and available for purchase.
- Optimize the user experience for product discovery, purchase flow, and checkout, focusing on conversion rate optimization and reducing cart abandonment.
- Work closely with inventory and fulfillment teams to ensure that stock levels are accurate and products are delivered efficiently.
- Theatrical Ticket Sales Management:
- Implement and manage the digital ticket sales platform for theatrical releases, ensuring that the process is user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with promotional efforts.
- Monitor ticket sales performance, optimize ticketing processes, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during sales.
- Coordinate with theater partners to ensure smooth digital ticketing operations and ensure accurate data tracking for reporting purposes.
- Cross-Channel Integration & Strategy:
- Develop and implement cross-channel strategies to integrate donation, merchandise, and ticket sales across web, mobile, email, and social platforms.
- Ensure that all customer touchpoints deliver a cohesive, unified experience and maximize engagement across all areas of the business.
- Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools to segment customers, personalize experiences, and optimize conversion funnels for donations, sales, and tickets.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use analytics tools to track performance across donations, merchandise, and ticket sales, generating reports that offer insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor KPIs, including donation conversion rates, merchandise sales figures, and ticket sales velocity, to inform strategy and ensure business targets are met.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on eCommerce performance and suggest strategies for growth and optimization.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that all eCommerce transactions comply with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and financial regulations, especially in handling donations and ticket sales.
- Manage payment security and implement fraud prevention measures across all platforms to protect donor and customer information.
Qualifications:
- Required Skills:
- Strong experience with eCommerce platforms and systems, particularly those supporting donations, merchandise sales, and ticketing (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Eventbrite, or custom platforms).
- Familiarity with online donation management, ticketing platforms, and merchandise fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools to support an integrated commerce strategy.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in managing eCommerce operations, preferably with experience in digital donations, merchandise sales, or ticketing platforms.
- Proven track record of driving growth through online transactions and optimizing the user experience for multiple commerce types.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational requirements.
