Position Purpose:


To connect with major donors of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and carry out approved onboarding, communication and retention strategies through outbound and inbound phone calls, prayer calls, written correspondence, and more. The heart is to bless the major donors and further connect them with TBN. 


Essential Duties:


  • Facilitate daily calls to pray for, encourage and bless major donors
  • Place special calls requested by leadership (i.e. disaster calls, special prayer, etc.)
  • Return calls from major donors who send in a contact form or leave a phone message
  • Participate in Donor Relations Team planning sessions
  • Participate in Donor Relations team brainstorming and communication meetings
  • Facilitate calls for special events (i.e. donor events, special tours)
  • Prior to making calls ensure that proper call preparations occur (i.e. review communication logs, fully informed of the call purpose, etc.)
  • Research requests related to major donor events, strategies, etc. (as needed)
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Assist major donors with navigating the website to locate particular programs
  • Answer major donors’ questions and connecting them to resources (as appropriate)
  • Update major donor Donor Direct accounts with appropriate documentation
  • Being familiar with TBN’s current programs, special programming, offers, and various updates that may impact major donors
  • Actively engaging and building relationships with TBN donors via phone, written correspondence, etc
  • Attend training sessions pertaining to changes or updates in my current or future job roles
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager


Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:


  • Good oral and written communication skills, bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to discern potential needs and minister accordingly
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to interact in a warm, friendly, professional manner consistent with the Christian ministry of TBN
  • Strong Bible-based knowledge and application in verbal and written settings
  • Must be proficient on Windows-based applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and other software platforms for effective communication with TBN worldwide partners
  • Ability to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Experience in previous customer service or call center environments, TBN call center preferred
