John Drake is Chief of Metropolitan Nashville, TN Police Department. He began his career as a police officer in 1988. From the Narcotics Unit, Drake transferred to Police Athletic League. Started a basketball program for children which grew from 100 participants to 1,300 within five years. In 2020, he was named as the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s 8th Chief of Police.
