Who is Andrea Bocelli?
Andrea Bocelli has been captivating audiences around the world for over three decades. Often referred to as the "World's Greatest Tenor," Bocelli started studying music at the age of six—learning the piano, the flute, and the saxophone. Born with a congenital eye disorder, he became fully blind at the age of twelve.
Bocelli studied law at the University of Pisa to appease his parents but continued to devote his energy to music. To pay for his law studies, he played piano locally. In 1992, his musical demo caught the attention of famed tenor Luciano Pavarotti, with whom he would later partner. Famous collaborations over the years include Placido Domingo, Celine Dion, Ed Sheeran, and Frank Sinatra. Bocelli has resoundingly solidified his status as an international singing sensation, loved by many.
