Job Description:
We are seeking an OTT Platforms Specialist to manage the creation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of over-the-top (OTT) applications across connected TV, mobile, and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands the OTT ecosystem and app workflows but does not code. You will serve as the bridge between clients, internal teams, and technology partners to ensure successful OTT app launches and ongoing performance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end OTT app build process using white-label or low-code OTT platforms
- Configure app layouts, navigation, branding, and user experience across devices
- Coordinate content ingestion, metadata management, and publishing workflows
- Manage app launches, updates, and platform submissions (Roku, Apple, Fire TV, Android, Samsung, and LG)
- Work closely with developers, designers, and vendors to translate requirements into executed builds
- Support monetization setup, including AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, FAST channels, and ad integrations
- Oversee QA, testing, and platform compliance to ensure smooth releases
- Monitor app performance, analytics, and user feedback to drive optimizations
- Troubleshoot issues by coordinating with internal teams and platform partners
- Serve as a primary point of contact for OTT clients and stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with OTT, CTV, or streaming platforms in a non-engineering role
- Strong understanding of OTT app workflows and platform requirements
- Experience collaborating with vendors, partners, or internal cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with OTT monetization models and ad-supported streaming concepts
- Excellent communication, organization, and task management according to project timelines
- Ability to manage multiple OTT apps or client projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with white-label OTT app builders or CMS-driven platforms
- Familiarity with FAST channels and linear streaming workflows
- Experience with analytics tools and performance reporting
- Background in digital media, streaming, or video distribution
