Tim Mahoney

Timothy Mahoney founded Mahoney Media Group, Inc., in 1989 as an advertising and marketing company, working with major corporations, franchises, nonprofit organizations, and ministries, including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
In 2002, Mahoney started an investigation into the biblical story of the Exodus, exploring and documenting some of the biggest questions of the Bible and what they mean for our world today. This initiative would become Patterns of Evidence, LLC.
In 2007, providential interviews occurred in Israel with some of the nation’s leading political, religious, and archaeological figures, discussing many historical and current topics, including the Bible, the Promised Land, the Covenant, and the meaning of “Chosen.” What Mahoney uncovered is an amazing pattern of evidence that matches the events recorded in the Bible, revealing God’s activity throughout history.
In 2014, Mahoney founded Thinking Man Films and Media, a Minnesota-based international documentary, publishing, and distribution company. He has directed eight feature films in the award-winning Patterns of Evidence film series, The Israel Dilemma I & II, The Exodus, The Moses Controversy, The Red Sea Miracle I & II, and Journey to Mount Sinai I & II. He also was the Executive Producer for The Journey Home, his personal testimony, and The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire and The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Deception.
In 2020, Mahoney started Patterns of Evidence Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to assist in funding the filmmaking process revealing evidence of God’s activity throughout the history of the world. 
In 2022, Tim founded Heroic Pictures, a motion picture studio focusing on dramatic storytelling of heroic lives and events. In 2025, Heroic Pictures will be releasing The American Miracle: Our Nation is No Accident, the studio’s first major motion picture, into theaters nationwide, based on the New York Times bestselling book by Michael Medved.
