Job Summary: As an Associate Producer for "Stakelbeck Tonight," you will play a pivotal role in supporting the production team to deliver a dynamic and informative television program focused on geopolitical analysis, and current events. Working closely with the show host, production staff, and guests, you'll assist in various aspects of show development, research, coordination, and execution to ensure the program's success in delivering insightful perspectives to our audience.
- Research and Content Development: Conduct in-depth research on geopolitical issues, and current events to assist in the development of show topics, segments, and guest interviews.
- Guest Coordination: Assist in guest outreach, booking, and coordination, maintaining communication and logistical arrangements with guests, experts, and commentators.
- Scripting and Documentation: Support in scriptwriting, fact-checking, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the show's objectives.
- Show Logistics: Assist in the organization and coordination of production logistics, including scheduling, segment planning, and on-set coordination during filming.
- Production Support: Collaborate with the production team, providing support during filming, overseeing equipment setup, and ensuring smooth operation of the production process.
- Post-Production Assistance: Aid in post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, assisting in editing sessions, and providing input to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on current events, emerging trends, and news developments relevant to the show's focus areas, providing insights and recommendations for show content.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, assisting in various tasks and providing support as needed to ensure efficient and successful show production.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, TV/Film or a related field preferred. Or at least 2 years of relevant production experience, long and short-form TV (news/reality/documentary), social, and/or promotional content development experience ispreferred
- Strong interest in geopolitical analysis, and global current events.
- Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with attention to detail.
- Adobe Premiere and basic editing skills strongly preferred
- Ability to write clear, concise, compelling copy
- Expert attention to detail and ability to complete jobs under deadline pressure
