Tony Evans

Dr. Tony Evans has served as the senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas for over forty years, leading it from a congregation of ten people in 1976 to over 10,000 congregants and more than 100 ministries today. The first African-American to graduate with a doctoral degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Evans serves as an associate professor in the seminary’s pastoral ministries department in the areas of evangelism, homiletics, and black church studies. He is founder and president of the Urban Alternative and author of over 100 books, booklets, and Bible studies. Additionally, he serves as chaplain for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
