  • about money and finances.
  • 00:00:03.060 --> 00:00:05.030
  • But that's exactly what we're gonna do today.
  • 00:00:05.030 --> 00:00:08.020
  • So many of us struggle to reach our financial goals,
  • 00:00:08.020 --> 00:00:11.150
  • but what if you could pay off all of your debt,
  • 00:00:11.150 --> 00:00:14.250
  • save for the future, and turn your money into a tool
  • 00:00:14.250 --> 00:00:19.180
  • that helps you bring joy, freedom, and blessings
  • 00:00:19.180 --> 00:00:23.280
  • to other people that are around you?
  • 00:00:23.280 --> 00:00:26.060
  • I'm Pastor Robert Morris, and over the last 30 years,
  • 00:00:26.060 --> 00:00:29.270
  • I've seen that God has a perfect plan
  • 00:00:29.270 --> 00:00:32.280
  • to overcome all financial stress.
  • 00:00:32.280 --> 00:00:36.130
  • I believe that generosity is the key
  • 00:00:36.130 --> 00:00:39.000
  • to living a blessed life, but before we can be generous,
  • 00:00:39.000 --> 00:00:42.280
  • we have to learn to be wise and faithful stewards
  • 00:00:42.280 --> 00:00:46.090
  • of the resources that God entrusts to us.
  • 00:00:46.090 --> 00:00:48.270
  • And the Bible is full of practical lessons
  • 00:00:48.270 --> 00:00:52.180
  • that show us how to do just that.
  • 00:00:52.180 --> 00:00:54.290
  • I wanna equip you to bless others
  • 00:00:54.290 --> 00:00:57.150
  • and to experience the fullness
  • 00:00:57.150 --> 00:00:59.220
  • of God's blessings in your own life.
  • 00:00:59.220 --> 00:01:02.180
  • Wherever you are today, you can start living Beyond Blessed.
  • 00:01:02.180 --> 00:01:07.180
  • (upbeat music)
  • 00:01:09.180 --> 00:01:12.050
  • (congregation clapping)
  • 00:01:20.170 --> 00:01:23.130
  • Hey, everyone, it's good to see you again
  • 00:01:23.130 --> 00:01:25.080
  • and it's good to see you at home.
  • 00:01:25.080 --> 00:01:27.030
  • Welcome to Beyond Blessed.
  • 00:01:27.030 --> 00:01:28.210
  • We are talking about how God blesses us
  • 00:01:28.210 --> 00:01:32.130
  • so that we can be a blessing.
  • 00:01:32.130 --> 00:01:35.040
  • And that distinction is extremely important.
  • 00:01:35.040 --> 00:01:39.080
  • It is not that we are blessed just so we can have more.
  • 00:01:39.080 --> 00:01:42.210
  • I do wanna say this, there's nothing wrong
  • 00:01:42.210 --> 00:01:45.210
  • with living in a safe neighborhood
  • 00:01:45.210 --> 00:01:47.280
  • or driving a reliable car or asking God to bless us
  • 00:01:47.280 --> 00:01:52.270
  • so that we can be good providers for our family.
  • 00:01:52.270 --> 00:01:55.190
  • There's nothing wrong with that,
  • 00:01:55.190 --> 00:01:57.020
  • but God desires also to bless us
  • 00:01:57.020 --> 00:02:00.160
  • so that we can be a blessing.
  • 00:02:00.160 --> 00:02:02.220
  • There are financial principles in Scripture
  • 00:02:02.220 --> 00:02:05.260
  • that teach us how to handle our finances
  • 00:02:05.260 --> 00:02:08.220
  • and how we can be blessed by God,
  • 00:02:08.220 --> 00:02:10.250
  • so that's what we're talking about.
  • 00:02:10.250 --> 00:02:12.130
  • So I wanna talk to you today
  • 00:02:12.130 --> 00:02:13.200
  • about the principles of multiplication.
  • 00:02:13.200 --> 00:02:17.010
  • Now, some of you know that I like grammar,
  • 00:02:17.010 --> 00:02:20.040
  • some of you know that I like math.
  • 00:02:20.040 --> 00:02:21.170
  • Those are my two strong subjects.
  • 00:02:21.170 --> 00:02:23.270
  • I'm not strong in science or history, just to let you know,
  • 00:02:23.270 --> 00:02:27.140
  • but I'm strong in math.
  • 00:02:27.140 --> 00:02:29.190
  • My father's actually a mathematical genius
  • 00:02:29.190 --> 00:02:32.290
  • and numbers add up in my head
  • 00:02:32.290 --> 00:02:34.290
  • without me trying to get them to, it just happens.
  • 00:02:34.290 --> 00:02:37.280
  • I don't know how it happens, it just happens.
  • 00:02:37.280 --> 00:02:40.250
  • The reason I'm saying that
  • 00:02:43.130 --> 00:02:44.240
  • is I'm saying the principles of multiplication.
  • 00:02:44.240 --> 00:02:48.050
  • Multiplication is a mathematical term.
  • 00:02:48.050 --> 00:02:50.200
  • Some of you are tuning out right now,
  • 00:02:50.200 --> 00:02:53.180
  • come back in, come back in.
  • 00:02:53.180 --> 00:02:55.190
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:02:55.190 --> 00:02:56.250
  • The point is you know this,
  • 00:02:56.250 --> 00:02:58.210
  • but addition is a mathematical term, subtraction, division.
  • 00:02:58.210 --> 00:03:03.230
  • Think about this, have you ever seen
  • 00:03:04.290 --> 00:03:05.280
  • subtraction in your finances?
  • 00:03:05.280 --> 00:03:08.010
  • Some leaves and you didn't know where it went, okay.
  • 00:03:09.150 --> 00:03:11.230
  • What about division, that's horrible, okay.
  • 00:03:11.230 --> 00:03:15.200
  • We've also seen addition, but would it be all right with you
  • 00:03:15.200 --> 00:03:18.240
  • if God multiplied your resources?
  • 00:03:20.030 --> 00:03:23.120
  • - [Congregation] Amen, amen.
  • 00:03:23.120 --> 00:03:25.000
  • - According to the Bible, he multiplies,
  • 00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:27.280
  • because remember the fish and the loaves?
  • 00:03:29.050 --> 00:03:31.200
  • So that's the story we're gonna look at,
  • 00:03:31.200 --> 00:03:33.240
  • and it's an amazing miracle.
  • 00:03:33.240 --> 00:03:35.040
  • Luke chapter 9:12, says
  • 00:03:35.040 --> 00:03:37.190
  • when the day began to wear away,
  • 00:03:37.190 --> 00:03:40.100
  • the 12 came and said to him, "Send the multitude away,
  • 00:03:40.100 --> 00:03:43.180
  • "that they may go into the surrounding towns and country,
  • 00:03:43.180 --> 00:03:46.110
  • "and lodge and get provisions,
  • 00:03:46.110 --> 00:03:48.070
  • "for we are in a deserted place here."
  • 00:03:48.070 --> 00:03:51.060
  • But he said to them, "You give them something to eat."
  • 00:03:51.060 --> 00:03:53.150
  • And they said, "We have no more
  • 00:03:53.150 --> 00:03:54.180
  • "than five loaves and two fish,
  • 00:03:54.180 --> 00:03:57.140
  • "unless we go and buy food for all these people."
  • 00:03:57.140 --> 00:04:00.050
  • For there were about 5.000 men.
  • 00:04:00.050 --> 00:04:04.180
  • Now I want you to notice, many people don't notice
  • 00:04:04.180 --> 00:04:07.180
  • the word men in that subject.
  • 00:04:07.180 --> 00:04:10.060
  • They don't understand that this is a not a sexist subject
  • 00:04:10.060 --> 00:04:14.030
  • or even a sexist Bible, it's just that in Jewish culture
  • 00:04:14.030 --> 00:04:17.060
  • at that time, the way they counted crowds
  • 00:04:17.060 --> 00:04:20.030
  • was they only counted the men.
  • 00:04:20.030 --> 00:04:21.270
  • So when they were talking about a crowd,
  • 00:04:21.270 --> 00:04:24.000
  • they were talking about households,
  • 00:04:24.000 --> 00:04:26.030
  • they were talking about families.
  • 00:04:26.030 --> 00:04:27.230
  • As a matter of fact, in Matthew,
  • 00:04:27.230 --> 00:04:30.070
  • we're gonna come back to Luke,
  • 00:04:30.070 --> 00:04:31.140
  • but Matthew records the same miracle,
  • 00:04:31.140 --> 00:04:34.020
  • and this is the way Matthew says it, Matthew 14:21.
  • 00:04:34.020 --> 00:04:37.200
  • Now those who had eaten were about 5.000 men,
  • 00:04:37.200 --> 00:04:40.230
  • besides women and children.
  • 00:04:40.230 --> 00:04:43.010
  • There are a lot of people who read this and say,
  • 00:04:44.150 --> 00:04:47.110
  • "You know, God fed 5.000 people."
  • 00:04:47.110 --> 00:04:50.040
  • No, he fed 5.000 families.
  • 00:04:50.040 --> 00:04:53.140
  • Average per capita family, by the way, was four children.
  • 00:04:53.140 --> 00:04:57.120
  • So now we're talking two adults, that's 10.000,
  • 00:04:59.030 --> 00:05:04.030
  • four children, that's 20.000, probably 30.000 people.
  • 00:05:04.030 --> 00:05:08.010
  • According to many theologians,
  • 00:05:08.010 --> 00:05:09.240
  • this is the largest crowd Jesus ever spoke with,
  • 00:05:09.240 --> 00:05:12.140
  • according to many.
  • 00:05:13.200 --> 00:05:14.280
  • Now, that doesn't mean, we don't know for sure,
  • 00:05:14.280 --> 00:05:17.190
  • the Sermon on the Mount is probably the most famous sermon,
  • 00:05:17.190 --> 00:05:20.160
  • but there probably weren't that many people there.
  • 00:05:20.160 --> 00:05:23.200
  • I just wanted to get in your mind
  • 00:05:23.200 --> 00:05:25.140
  • there could be 20.000 or 30.000 people there.
  • 00:05:25.140 --> 00:05:28.040
  • That's what I wanted you to get.
  • 00:05:28.040 --> 00:05:29.230
  • When you say the feeding of the 5.000,
  • 00:05:29.230 --> 00:05:31.260
  • it's fine to call it that as long as you understand
  • 00:05:31.260 --> 00:05:33.220
  • it was 5.000 families, not just 5.000 people.
  • 00:05:33.220 --> 00:05:37.280
  • I just wanted you to realize again,
  • 00:05:37.280 --> 00:05:39.200
  • this is a pretty big miracle
  • 00:05:39.200 --> 00:05:41.010
  • because they had five pieces of bread
  • 00:05:41.010 --> 00:05:43.250
  • and two pieces of fish.
  • 00:05:43.250 --> 00:05:45.130
  • That's all they had, okay?
  • 00:05:45.130 --> 00:05:46.280
  • Then he goes on, there were about 5.000 men,
  • 00:05:48.090 --> 00:05:50.120
  • verse 14 says, and he said to his disciples,
  • 00:05:50.120 --> 00:05:52.250
  • "Make them sit down in groups of 50."
  • 00:05:52.250 --> 00:05:55.080
  • Again, I like Jesus 'cause he likes math, too.
  • 00:05:55.080 --> 00:05:58.050
  • And they did so, and they made them all sit down.
  • 00:05:59.180 --> 00:06:01.220
  • Then he took the five loaves and the two fish,
  • 00:06:01.220 --> 00:06:04.060
  • looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke them,
  • 00:06:04.060 --> 00:06:07.010
  • and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.
  • 00:06:07.010 --> 00:06:10.070
  • So they all ate and were filled,
  • 00:06:10.070 --> 00:06:12.150
  • and 12, numbers jump out at me,
  • 00:06:12.150 --> 00:06:15.260
  • 12 baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
  • 00:06:15.260 --> 00:06:19.060
  • Now, I'm always thinking why does the Bible tell us
  • 00:06:19.060 --> 00:06:23.060
  • these details, you know?
  • 00:06:23.060 --> 00:06:24.190
  • It says there were 12 baskets left over.
  • 00:06:24.190 --> 00:06:27.020
  • My personal opinion is that Jesus wanted each disciple
  • 00:06:27.020 --> 00:06:31.060
  • to have a doggie bag, that's my personal opinion.
  • 00:06:31.060 --> 00:06:35.020
  • That's why there were 12 left over.
  • 00:06:35.020 --> 00:06:36.250
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:06:36.250 --> 00:06:38.000
  • Actually, theologically where they were
  • 00:06:38.000 --> 00:06:40.180
  • was called the Region of 12.
  • 00:06:40.180 --> 00:06:42.260
  • It could have represented something spiritually
  • 00:06:42.260 --> 00:06:45.160
  • that he wanted to feed the whole region.
  • 00:06:45.160 --> 00:06:48.120
  • There's all sorts of things you can think.
  • 00:06:48.120 --> 00:06:50.070
  • But here's what I like to do with a Bible story,
  • 00:06:50.070 --> 00:06:53.110
  • because it helps me.
  • 00:06:53.110 --> 00:06:55.140
  • I like to put myself in the story and think
  • 00:06:55.140 --> 00:06:57.220
  • how would I have responded had I been there that day?
  • 00:06:57.220 --> 00:07:01.210
  • So I want you to think that you're one of the 12,
  • 00:07:03.030 --> 00:07:05.290
  • and you have the largest crowd you've ever had,
  • 00:07:05.290 --> 00:07:09.060
  • and Jesus is speaking.
  • 00:07:09.060 --> 00:07:11.070
  • It talks about when the day began to wear away,
  • 00:07:14.030 --> 00:07:16.120
  • so it's getting late, all right?
  • 00:07:16.120 --> 00:07:18.230
  • They said, "Send them back into town
  • 00:07:18.230 --> 00:07:20.180
  • "so they can get something to eat."
  • 00:07:20.180 --> 00:07:22.030
  • The restaurants were probably starting to close, you know.
  • 00:07:22.030 --> 00:07:24.110
  • The markets were closing.
  • 00:07:24.110 --> 00:07:25.250
  • So, I'm thinking Jesus is up there,
  • 00:07:25.250 --> 00:07:28.190
  • 12 noon, he's still talking,
  • 00:07:28.190 --> 00:07:30.140
  • one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock,
  • 00:07:30.140 --> 00:07:34.050
  • I mean, you already missed the first game, you know?
  • 00:07:34.050 --> 00:07:37.090
  • Four o'clock, five o'clock, six o'clock.
  • 00:07:37.090 --> 00:07:40.150
  • I mean, again, this little phrase, verse 12,
  • 00:07:42.230 --> 00:07:46.030
  • when the day began to wear away.
  • 00:07:46.030 --> 00:07:49.030
  • In the Greek, that means when the day began to wear away.
  • 00:07:49.030 --> 00:07:54.030
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:07:54.250 --> 00:07:57.040
  • Luke is a physician.
  • 00:07:57.040 --> 00:07:59.050
  • He is describing it was getting very late.
  • 00:07:59.050 --> 00:08:02.270
  • That's what he was trying to say.
  • 00:08:02.270 --> 00:08:04.110
  • So I think the disciples kinda came over here
  • 00:08:04.110 --> 00:08:06.100
  • and they said, "What are we gonna do?
  • 00:08:06.100 --> 00:08:08.150
  • "I mean, he's good, we like him, but I'm about to die.
  • 00:08:08.150 --> 00:08:11.140
  • "I'm about to starve to death.
  • 00:08:11.140 --> 00:08:12.270
  • "If I don't eat something soon, I'm gonna die.
  • 00:08:12.270 --> 00:08:14.280
  • "I will die right here."
  • 00:08:14.280 --> 00:08:17.000
  • One of them probably said,
  • 00:08:17.000 --> 00:08:18.060
  • "You know what, that's a good idea,
  • 00:08:18.060 --> 00:08:20.020
  • "let's tell Jesus that the people are getting hungry.
  • 00:08:20.020 --> 00:08:25.020
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:08:26.000 --> 00:08:27.070
  • "He seems to care a lot about the people.
  • 00:08:27.070 --> 00:08:30.280
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:08:30.280 --> 00:08:32.090
  • "He doesn't seem to care much about us,
  • 00:08:32.090 --> 00:08:33.160
  • "but he seems to care a lot about the people."
  • 00:08:33.160 --> 00:08:35.130
  • So now imagine that you get elected the spokesperson
  • 00:08:35.130 --> 00:08:39.160
  • and Jesus is preaching.
  • 00:08:40.240 --> 00:08:42.120
  • See, the inference in Scripture here
  • 00:08:42.120 --> 00:08:44.150
  • is that they approached him
  • 00:08:44.150 --> 00:08:45.220
  • while he was still talking, all right?
  • 00:08:45.220 --> 00:08:47.260
  • So he's up there preaching, all these people,
  • 00:08:47.260 --> 00:08:50.000
  • so you walk up to Jesus and you say,
  • 00:08:50.000 --> 00:08:52.140
  • "Excuse me, Lord, excuse me, excuse me,
  • 00:08:52.140 --> 00:08:56.180
  • "boy, Lord, this has been good.
  • 00:08:57.190 --> 00:08:59.040
  • "I tell you this is really good today.
  • 00:08:59.040 --> 00:09:01.260
  • "This series of messages you're bringing all in one day,
  • 00:09:01.260 --> 00:09:05.230
  • "but we were talking and we feel like
  • 00:09:07.150 --> 00:09:12.140
  • "that the people are getting hungry,
  • 00:09:13.190 --> 00:09:16.250
  • "and it's all about the people, Lord.
  • 00:09:16.250 --> 00:09:19.160
  • "Now, I was just telling John, I could go all night.
  • 00:09:20.290 --> 00:09:24.070
  • "I tell you, I could just go all night.
  • 00:09:24.070 --> 00:09:25.260
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:09:25.260 --> 00:09:27.290
  • "But we feel like the people are getting hungry,
  • 00:09:27.290 --> 00:09:29.150
  • "and so the restaurants are about to close,
  • 00:09:29.150 --> 00:09:32.020
  • "and we feel like that you should wrap it up."
  • 00:09:32.020 --> 00:09:37.020
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:09:37.280 --> 00:09:40.050
  • Jesus might have said something like this,
  • 00:09:40.050 --> 00:09:42.120
  • "So you're concerned about the people?"
  • 00:09:42.120 --> 00:09:44.290
  • "Yes, Lord, it's all about the people."
  • 00:09:44.290 --> 00:09:46.270
  • Then he says something maybe you've never seen.
  • 00:09:48.180 --> 00:09:51.140
  • This is shocking to me, verse 13, so he said to them,
  • 00:09:51.140 --> 00:09:56.020
  • "Well, then you give them something to eat."
  • 00:09:56.020 --> 00:09:58.010
  • "Excuse me?" (congregation laughing)
  • 00:09:58.010 --> 00:10:00.190
  • "Yeah, you and your little group over there,
  • 00:10:00.190 --> 00:10:02.140
  • "y'all are concerned about the people,
  • 00:10:02.140 --> 00:10:03.200
  • "why don't you give them something to eat?"
  • 00:10:03.200 --> 00:10:06.000
  • Think about that.
  • 00:10:06.000 --> 00:10:07.100
  • See, we don't ever put ourselves in the story.
  • 00:10:07.100 --> 00:10:10.060
  • Think about if you had 30.000 people
  • 00:10:10.060 --> 00:10:12.060
  • and you were supposed to give them
  • 00:10:12.060 --> 00:10:13.140
  • something to eat in a deserted place.
  • 00:10:13.140 --> 00:10:15.260
  • So, he goes back over and there's some little kid
  • 00:10:17.180 --> 00:10:20.100
  • that's walking by with a Long John Silver sack.
  • 00:10:20.100 --> 00:10:24.180
  • He want back in the town, snuck into town,
  • 00:10:24.180 --> 00:10:26.210
  • told his parents, said "Yeah, you have to eat something."
  • 00:10:26.210 --> 00:10:29.100
  • So they grab the sack from him, they open it up,
  • 00:10:29.100 --> 00:10:32.020
  • it's got two pieces of fish and extra rolls.
  • 00:10:32.020 --> 00:10:35.120
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:10:35.120 --> 00:10:36.220
  • That's all it has.
  • 00:10:36.220 --> 00:10:37.200
  • So one of them says, "What are we gonna do?
  • 00:10:38.250 --> 00:10:41.010
  • "Let's tell Jesus this is all we have."
  • 00:10:41.010 --> 00:10:44.020
  • Now, again, we read the Bible
  • 00:10:44.280 --> 00:10:47.080
  • and these stories are so ingrained in us,
  • 00:10:47.080 --> 00:10:50.050
  • but if this was happening to you for the first time,
  • 00:10:50.050 --> 00:10:53.000
  • you would think the way the disciples were thinking.
  • 00:10:54.120 --> 00:10:57.050
  • You would think, okay, if we tell him this is all we have,
  • 00:10:57.050 --> 00:11:01.250
  • then he'll dismiss the service, you know?
  • 00:11:01.250 --> 00:11:05.030
  • So you go back and you say, "Lord, excuse me,
  • 00:11:05.030 --> 00:11:07.270
  • "excuse me, Lord, you know you told me,
  • 00:11:07.270 --> 00:11:11.120
  • "us to give them something to eat,
  • 00:11:12.210 --> 00:11:14.250
  • "and we've been working on that,
  • 00:11:14.250 --> 00:11:16.200
  • "and there was a kid walking by.
  • 00:11:16.200 --> 00:11:18.050
  • "Peter took it from him, Lord, I didn't take it from him.
  • 00:11:18.050 --> 00:11:20.110
  • "Peter took it from him."
  • 00:11:20.110 --> 00:11:21.210
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:11:21.210 --> 00:11:23.010
  • "Yeah, that'll be fine.
  • 00:11:23.010 --> 00:11:24.090
  • "Have them sit down in groups of 50."
  • 00:11:24.090 --> 00:11:25.190
  • Thousands of people, two fish, five pieces of bread.
  • 00:11:27.100 --> 00:11:32.010
  • Now, in my opinion, I don't know this,
  • 00:11:33.060 --> 00:11:36.090
  • I just wonder if they remembered a story
  • 00:11:36.090 --> 00:11:38.230
  • from the Scriptures, their Scriptures, the Old Testament,
  • 00:11:38.230 --> 00:11:42.140
  • were Elisha fed 100 men with 12 loaves of bread.
  • 00:11:42.140 --> 00:11:47.140
  • That's in the Bible.
  • 00:11:48.060 --> 00:11:48.180
  • I wonder if they thought to themselves,
  • 00:11:49.270 --> 00:11:52.030
  • "I'll bet it's gonna multiply.
  • 00:11:52.030 --> 00:11:53.180
  • "I'll bet when Jesus prays over it, it's gonna multiply."
  • 00:11:55.000 --> 00:11:56.260
  • So I can just see someone like Peter,
  • 00:11:56.260 --> 00:11:58.230
  • I like Peter 'cause he's kinda brash, you know.
  • 00:11:58.230 --> 00:12:00.290
  • Peter might have grabbed one of the rolls
  • 00:12:00.290 --> 00:12:02.130
  • and said, "Here, here, pray over mine first, Lord.
  • 00:12:02.130 --> 00:12:04.230
  • "Here, pray over mine, pray over mine.
  • 00:12:04.230 --> 00:12:06.130
  • "Watch, watch what happens when he prays over it,
  • 00:12:06.130 --> 00:12:08.250
  • "just watch, just watch."
  • 00:12:08.250 --> 00:12:10.100
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:12:10.100 --> 00:12:11.260
  • And most of us think that when Jesus prayed over it,
  • 00:12:11.260 --> 00:12:16.120
  • it multiplied and then they gave it away.
  • 00:12:17.160 --> 00:12:20.000
  • That's not what happened.
  • 00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:21.210
  • I'm gonna read it to you straight outta the Bible, verse 16,
  • 00:12:21.210 --> 00:12:24.230
  • he blessed and broke them
  • 00:12:24.230 --> 00:12:27.120
  • and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.
  • 00:12:28.260 --> 00:12:33.060
  • So he takes this roll from Peter, breaks it in half,
  • 00:12:34.200 --> 00:12:39.160
  • now it's smaller than what it was,
  • 00:12:40.210 --> 00:12:41.120
  • holds it up to heaven, and says, "Lord, bless this,"
  • 00:12:42.260 --> 00:12:47.070
  • and hands half of it back to Peter.
  • 00:12:47.070 --> 00:12:49.250
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:12:53.260 --> 00:12:57.060
  • "Are you finished praying?"
  • 00:13:01.150 --> 00:13:03.030
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:13:03.030 --> 00:13:05.170
  • "Yes, Peter," now again, this is not Scripture,
  • 00:13:05.170 --> 00:13:07.280
  • I'm just kinda taking this and just showing you
  • 00:13:07.280 --> 00:13:10.050
  • what could have happened that day.
  • 00:13:10.050 --> 00:13:12.170
  • Think about this, Jesus might have said something like,
  • 00:13:12.170 --> 00:13:14.270
  • "Yes, Peter, it's blessed,
  • 00:13:14.270 --> 00:13:18.050
  • "it's blessed by me.
  • 00:13:20.250 --> 00:13:23.070
  • "Now you go give it away.
  • 00:13:23.070 --> 00:13:24.140
  • "Watch what happens when you give away something
  • 00:13:25.220 --> 00:13:29.130
  • "that I've blessed, what what happens."
  • 00:13:29.130 --> 00:13:31.120
  • Personally, I think Peter walked up to the first person
  • 00:13:33.230 --> 00:13:36.110
  • and said something like this,
  • 00:13:36.110 --> 00:13:37.240
  • "Take just a little piece."
  • 00:13:40.130 --> 00:13:42.020
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:13:42.020 --> 00:13:45.120
  • What would you say?
  • 00:13:46.270 --> 00:13:47.280
  • He goes down the row, "Take a little piece,
  • 00:13:49.070 --> 00:13:51.130
  • "a little piece, take a little piece.
  • 00:13:51.130 --> 00:13:53.160
  • "I said a little piece, you pig, what is wrong with you?"
  • 00:13:53.160 --> 00:13:56.160
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:13:56.160 --> 00:13:58.200
  • He gets down to the end of the row,
  • 00:13:58.200 --> 00:14:00.080
  • he's got a crumb left in his hand,
  • 00:14:00.080 --> 00:14:03.120
  • sweat pouring down his brow,
  • 00:14:03.120 --> 00:14:05.130
  • and right before the person reaches to grab it,
  • 00:14:06.240 --> 00:14:09.130
  • this crumb grows
  • 00:14:09.130 --> 00:14:13.240
  • in Peter's hands.
  • 00:14:14.260 --> 00:14:16.010
  • Here's something you need to remember,
  • 00:14:17.060 --> 00:14:18.220
  • don't ever forget it.
  • 00:14:18.220 --> 00:14:20.120
  • The miracle did not happen in the master's hands.
  • 00:14:20.120 --> 00:14:24.290
  • It happened in the disciples' hands
  • 00:14:26.040 --> 00:14:27.250
  • when they obeyed the master.
  • 00:14:29.250 --> 00:14:31.100
  • There are two very simple principles of multiplication here.
  • 00:14:32.290 --> 00:14:35.250
  • They're very simple, they're right outta the Bible, okay?
  • 00:14:37.090 --> 00:14:39.100
  • Number one, it has to be blessed before it can multiply.
  • 00:14:39.100 --> 00:14:44.000
  • It has to be, by Jesus.
  • 00:14:45.070 --> 00:14:47.180
  • What if the disciples had given the bread and the fish away
  • 00:14:47.180 --> 00:14:52.180
  • without Jesus blessing it?
  • 00:14:53.140 --> 00:14:55.170
  • It wouldn't have multiplied.
  • 00:14:55.170 --> 00:14:56.290
  • The Bible tells us that the way our finances are blessed
  • 00:14:58.130 --> 00:15:02.160
  • is we give the tithe to the local church,
  • 00:15:02.160 --> 00:15:05.110
  • and Hebrews tells us that Jesus himself receives it,
  • 00:15:05.110 --> 00:15:10.000
  • listen to this, and blesses it,
  • 00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:12.160
  • that he blesses it.
  • 00:15:14.110 --> 00:15:15.090
  • So there are a lot of people that give a little here
  • 00:15:16.210 --> 00:15:18.230
  • and give a little there, please hear me,
  • 00:15:18.230 --> 00:15:21.250
  • your finances are never gonna multiply
  • 00:15:21.250 --> 00:15:24.100
  • because you gotta give it to Jesus first.
  • 00:15:24.100 --> 00:15:26.290
  • It's gotta go to the bride of Christ.
  • 00:15:26.290 --> 00:15:29.250
  • Let me say it another way, the body of Christ.
  • 00:15:29.250 --> 00:15:33.190
  • That's the tithe.
  • 00:15:33.190 --> 00:15:34.290
  • So it has to be blessed before it can multiply.
  • 00:15:34.290 --> 00:15:37.000
  • Here's principle number two, this is how simple it is.
  • 00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:39.180
  • It has to be given away before it can multiply.
  • 00:15:39.180 --> 00:15:42.210
  • So what if they had given it to Jesus and he had blessed it
  • 00:15:44.040 --> 00:15:49.030
  • and then the disciples ate it themselves?
  • 00:15:50.070 --> 00:15:52.010
  • It never would have multiplied.
  • 00:15:53.170 --> 00:15:54.220
  • But it the ability to multiply.
  • 00:15:54.220 --> 00:15:57.070
  • There are a lot of people who tithe
  • 00:15:57.070 --> 00:15:59.020
  • and never give over and above the tithe.
  • 00:16:00.100 --> 00:16:03.050
  • They actually eat it for themselves
  • 00:16:03.050 --> 00:16:06.090
  • or use it for themselves,
  • 00:16:06.090 --> 00:16:08.070
  • and what they have has the potential to multiply,
  • 00:16:08.070 --> 00:16:12.160
  • but it never does because they never give it away.
  • 00:16:13.290 --> 00:16:16.020
  • So God did this in my life and in Debbie's life years ago,
  • 00:16:16.020 --> 00:16:20.120
  • and God spoke to us and said,
  • 00:16:20.120 --> 00:16:21.250
  • "I'm gonna teach you about extravagant giving.
  • 00:16:21.250 --> 00:16:24.290
  • "I want the two of you to learn extravagant giving."
  • 00:16:24.290 --> 00:16:28.050
  • I remember saying, "What does extravagant giving mean?"
  • 00:16:28.050 --> 00:16:32.060
  • He said, "It means that you give what I tell you to
  • 00:16:32.060 --> 00:16:35.170
  • "where I tell you to, and when I tell you to.
  • 00:16:35.170 --> 00:16:38.140
  • "That's stewardship, not ownership.
  • 00:16:40.190 --> 00:16:43.090
  • "It's mine, you give it when I tell you to."
  • 00:16:43.090 --> 00:16:47.070
  • So at that time, I was a traveling evangelist.
  • 00:16:47.070 --> 00:16:49.170
  • I wasn't a pastor, and I did a lot of youth revivals,
  • 00:16:49.170 --> 00:16:53.130
  • and I would travel and speak,
  • 00:16:53.130 --> 00:16:55.060
  • and then they would give an honorarium or a love offering,
  • 00:16:55.060 --> 00:16:58.170
  • and I had no other salary other than that.
  • 00:16:58.170 --> 00:17:00.260
  • One month, I had one speaking engagement
  • 00:17:00.260 --> 00:17:03.220
  • for the whole month, for the whole month.
  • 00:17:03.220 --> 00:17:05.240
  • We had about 60 people, it was a small church.
  • 00:17:06.290 --> 00:17:09.210
  • So I got up and preached,
  • 00:17:09.210 --> 00:17:10.280
  • and I also never asked for anything.
  • 00:17:10.280 --> 00:17:13.080
  • They would say, "What are your requirements for coming?"
  • 00:17:13.080 --> 00:17:15.270
  • My friends would say, "Pay our expenses
  • 00:17:15.270 --> 00:17:17.290
  • "and give us an offering."
  • 00:17:17.290 --> 00:17:19.060
  • I never said that.
  • 00:17:19.060 --> 00:17:20.130
  • I felt like God said, "Don't even do that.
  • 00:17:20.130 --> 00:17:22.070
  • "You just trust me for your finances."
  • 00:17:22.070 --> 00:17:24.140
  • So I would say, "I have no financial requirements
  • 00:17:24.140 --> 00:17:26.200
  • "for coming," and so we would just go.
  • 00:17:26.200 --> 00:17:30.040
  • We went to this place and I spoke,
  • 00:17:30.040 --> 00:17:32.110
  • and at the end, the pastor said,
  • 00:17:32.110 --> 00:17:34.020
  • "This is the first evangelist
  • 00:17:34.020 --> 00:17:35.170
  • "that's ever told me he would come for nothing.
  • 00:17:35.170 --> 00:17:37.270
  • "I've never had an evangelist say that."
  • 00:17:37.270 --> 00:17:39.270
  • So he said, "I'd like us to really bless him."
  • 00:17:39.270 --> 00:17:42.130
  • Well, at the end of the service,
  • 00:17:42.130 --> 00:17:43.240
  • the pastor and I were standing in the front
  • 00:17:43.240 --> 00:17:46.050
  • and they counted the offering and brought it to him,
  • 00:17:46.050 --> 00:17:48.290
  • and he opens it up and he gets excited.
  • 00:17:48.290 --> 00:17:51.240
  • He says, "Look at this, look at this."
  • 00:17:51.240 --> 00:17:53.270
  • He said, "We've never given an offering this big,"
  • 00:17:53.270 --> 00:17:55.130
  • and he was excited to give, and he showed me the check,
  • 00:17:55.130 --> 00:17:58.150
  • and it was enough for our whole month,
  • 00:17:58.150 --> 00:18:01.070
  • but it was the only meeting I had the whole...
  • 00:18:01.070 --> 00:18:03.200
  • By the way, I had a person that was helping me
  • 00:18:03.200 --> 00:18:05.290
  • to set up the meetings, and I had an office, a small one,
  • 00:18:05.290 --> 00:18:09.060
  • but I had more expenses than just our personal salary,
  • 00:18:09.060 --> 00:18:12.020
  • but it was enough for the whole month.
  • 00:18:12.020 --> 00:18:14.140
  • I just thought, "Lord, you're so amazing."
  • 00:18:14.140 --> 00:18:17.030
  • While I was standing there,
  • 00:18:17.030 --> 00:18:18.180
  • I glanced over the pastor's shoulder
  • 00:18:18.180 --> 00:18:21.020
  • and there was a missionary at the back of the room
  • 00:18:21.020 --> 00:18:23.140
  • that had given a report right before I spoke,
  • 00:18:23.140 --> 00:18:26.080
  • and this voice said to me, "Give him the check."
  • 00:18:26.080 --> 00:18:30.070
  • I remember exactly what I thought, "Get behind me, Satan.
  • 00:18:31.180 --> 00:18:34.240
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:18:34.240 --> 00:18:36.000
  • "That's not God, that is not God.
  • 00:18:36.000 --> 00:18:38.000
  • "That is not you, by the way,
  • 00:18:38.000 --> 00:18:40.020
  • "that's not you, that's not God."
  • 00:18:40.020 --> 00:18:42.000
  • And the Lord said, "Give him the offering."
  • 00:18:43.160 --> 00:18:46.060
  • I remember, I remember, now I know, when you're young,
  • 00:18:47.190 --> 00:18:50.140
  • you say things to the Lord, and I said to the Lord,
  • 00:18:50.140 --> 00:18:53.140
  • "Lord, you're not thinking clearly.
  • 00:18:53.140 --> 00:18:56.000
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:18:56.000 --> 00:18:57.070
  • "I mean, this is our exact budget.
  • 00:18:57.070 --> 00:18:59.010
  • "You provided this for us, that's the miracle,
  • 00:19:00.080 --> 00:19:02.000
  • "that's the miracle."
  • 00:19:02.000 --> 00:19:03.200
  • And the Lord said, "I told you I would tell you
  • 00:19:03.200 --> 00:19:06.070
  • "when to give, where to give, and how much to give.
  • 00:19:06.070 --> 00:19:10.280
  • "I'm telling you to give right now
  • 00:19:10.280 --> 00:19:12.220
  • "to that missionary the whole offering."
  • 00:19:12.220 --> 00:19:15.010
  • So I waited until the church kinda cleared out,
  • 00:19:16.180 --> 00:19:19.130
  • I endorsed the check, I folded it in half,
  • 00:19:19.130 --> 00:19:21.100
  • and I went over to the missionary, and I said,
  • 00:19:21.100 --> 00:19:23.220
  • "God spoke to me to give this to you.
  • 00:19:23.220 --> 00:19:25.110
  • "I said on two conditions.
  • 00:19:25.110 --> 00:19:26.200
  • "Number one, don't ever tell anyone I did it."
  • 00:19:26.200 --> 00:19:29.100
  • Now since that time, but it was years later, God said to me,
  • 00:19:29.100 --> 00:19:32.270
  • "I want you to start sharing these testimonies."
  • 00:19:32.270 --> 00:19:35.010
  • But I didn't share for years what Debbie and I did.
  • 00:19:35.010 --> 00:19:37.140
  • But I said, "Don't ever tell anyone I did this,
  • 00:19:37.140 --> 00:19:39.090
  • "and don't look at this until after you leave,"
  • 00:19:39.090 --> 00:19:41.290
  • 'cause it was a very large check.
  • 00:19:41.290 --> 00:19:44.030
  • So I gave him the check, walked out in the parking lot,
  • 00:19:45.200 --> 00:19:48.080
  • Debbie was with me, and these couples were standing there,
  • 00:19:48.080 --> 00:19:51.070
  • and they said, "Hey, we're going to get some pizza,
  • 00:19:51.070 --> 00:19:53.080
  • "do y'all wanna go?"
  • 00:19:53.080 --> 00:19:54.220
  • And we said, "Yeah," 'cause we were broke, you know.
  • 00:19:54.220 --> 00:19:58.250
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:19:58.250 --> 00:19:59.230
  • So, "Yeah, we'd love to go."
  • 00:19:59.230 --> 00:20:00.290
  • We go and eat pizza.
  • 00:20:00.290 --> 00:20:02.130
  • There are six couples total, including Debbie and me,
  • 00:20:02.130 --> 00:20:04.210
  • so get that in your mind,
  • 00:20:04.210 --> 00:20:06.070
  • six men sat at one end of the table,
  • 00:20:06.070 --> 00:20:09.030
  • six ladies sat the other table,
  • 00:20:09.030 --> 00:20:10.200
  • just to talk and fellowship, you know.
  • 00:20:10.200 --> 00:20:12.210
  • Debbie was at that end, I was at this end.
  • 00:20:12.210 --> 00:20:15.130
  • These four men started talking.
  • 00:20:15.130 --> 00:20:17.100
  • This guy across the table from me leans over
  • 00:20:17.100 --> 00:20:21.000
  • and says to me, "How much was the love offering?"
  • 00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:24.080
  • Just like that, and I didn't know the guy.
  • 00:20:25.140 --> 00:20:27.130
  • I had met him one time before
  • 00:20:27.130 --> 00:20:30.100
  • on like a men's outing thing, just one time.
  • 00:20:30.100 --> 00:20:33.110
  • So I told him how much it was.
  • 00:20:35.140 --> 00:20:37.170
  • Now you gotta remember,
  • 00:20:37.170 --> 00:20:38.240
  • it was an offering, not an honorarium.
  • 00:20:38.240 --> 00:20:40.290
  • Here's the difference if you don't know.
  • 00:20:40.290 --> 00:20:42.230
  • An honorarium is a round amount, like $250, $500, $1.000.
  • 00:20:42.230 --> 00:20:47.230
  • It's like a round amount.
  • 00:20:49.040 --> 00:20:50.220
  • An offering normally has dollars and cents
  • 00:20:50.220 --> 00:20:53.130
  • 'cause people give different amounts, you know.
  • 00:20:53.130 --> 00:20:55.150
  • And again, this was a very large offering
  • 00:20:55.150 --> 00:20:57.150
  • because it was enough for the entire month.
  • 00:20:57.150 --> 00:21:00.050
  • But I do real well with numbers and so I remembered it,
  • 00:21:00.050 --> 00:21:03.290
  • so I told him how much it was.
  • 00:21:03.290 --> 00:21:06.010
  • Then he said to me, "Where's the check?"
  • 00:21:06.010 --> 00:21:09.090
  • Just like that.
  • 00:21:10.080 --> 00:21:11.040
  • And I got kind of flustered and I thought,
  • 00:21:12.140 --> 00:21:15.080
  • "Why is this guy asking me these questions?"
  • 00:21:15.080 --> 00:21:17.230
  • And the Lord had dealt with me
  • 00:21:17.230 --> 00:21:20.150
  • about prideful things and all,
  • 00:21:20.150 --> 00:21:22.160
  • and I didn't wanna say I gave it away,
  • 00:21:22.160 --> 00:21:25.210
  • gave it to a missionary, you know, or something.
  • 00:21:25.210 --> 00:21:27.110
  • So I didn't know what to say, but I heard myself say,
  • 00:21:27.110 --> 00:21:31.100
  • I went, "Debbie has it."
  • 00:21:31.100 --> 00:21:35.050
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:21:35.050 --> 00:21:38.150
  • I didn't know what else to say, you know?
  • 00:21:39.210 --> 00:21:41.090
  • And he says to me, "Go get it, I wanna see it."
  • 00:21:41.090 --> 00:21:44.160
  • So I said, "Okay."
  • 00:21:46.100 --> 00:21:49.220
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:21:49.220 --> 00:21:51.070
  • So I got up, I walked down to where Debbie was seated,
  • 00:21:51.070 --> 00:21:53.050
  • I bent down and I whispered in her ear,
  • 00:21:53.050 --> 00:21:55.050
  • I said, "How's your pizza, it is good?
  • 00:21:55.050 --> 00:21:57.020
  • "Okay, great," there was nothing else to say.
  • 00:21:57.020 --> 00:22:00.140
  • There's no check, it's gone, you know?
  • 00:22:00.140 --> 00:22:03.020
  • So I go back, I know you're supposed to tell the truth,
  • 00:22:03.020 --> 00:22:05.050
  • I wasn't trying to lie, I really wasn't.
  • 00:22:05.050 --> 00:22:06.200
  • I was just trying to be discreet about our giving.
  • 00:22:06.200 --> 00:22:08.210
  • So I said to the guy, I said,
  • 00:22:08.210 --> 00:22:11.060
  • "It's in the car."
  • 00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:15.250
  • Now, that wasn't a lie,
  • 00:22:15.250 --> 00:22:17.110
  • 'cause it could have been in the missionary's car, you see.
  • 00:22:17.110 --> 00:22:19.210
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:22:19.210 --> 00:22:20.290
  • It was the first thing that came to my mind.
  • 00:22:20.290 --> 00:22:23.020
  • I said, "It's in the car."
  • 00:22:23.020 --> 00:22:25.020
  • And he said to me, "It's not in the car."
  • 00:22:25.020 --> 00:22:27.220
  • So I said, "Where is it?"
  • 00:22:29.070 --> 00:22:32.270
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:22:32.270 --> 00:22:35.040
  • You know so much, pal, you know?
  • 00:22:35.040 --> 00:22:38.000
  • I was getting frustrated.
  • 00:22:38.000 --> 00:22:39.160
  • I didn't understand why this guy's quizzing me like this.
  • 00:22:39.160 --> 00:22:42.030
  • So he reached in his...
  • 00:22:43.000 --> 00:22:44.090
  • He said, "You gave it away, didn't you?
  • 00:22:44.090 --> 00:22:46.190
  • "You gave it away, didn't you?"
  • 00:22:46.190 --> 00:22:47.260
  • And I said, "How do you know that?"
  • 00:22:47.260 --> 00:22:50.260
  • I said, "Did you see me give it away?"
  • 00:22:50.260 --> 00:22:53.120
  • He said, "No, God told me."
  • 00:22:53.120 --> 00:22:56.050
  • This is the first person I ever met
  • 00:22:56.050 --> 00:22:57.200
  • that had the gift of giving.
  • 00:22:57.200 --> 00:23:00.040
  • Did you know there's a gift of giving in the Bible,
  • 00:23:02.010 --> 00:23:04.080
  • in Romans 12.
  • 00:23:04.080 --> 00:23:05.240
  • A lot of people have that gift of giving,
  • 00:23:05.240 --> 00:23:07.250
  • but because they don't know how
  • 00:23:09.020 --> 00:23:10.070
  • to manage their finances well,
  • 00:23:10.070 --> 00:23:12.000
  • they can never can operate in it.
  • 00:23:12.000 --> 00:23:13.200
  • It's real important.
  • 00:23:14.160 --> 00:23:16.050
  • So he said, "You gave it away, didn't you?"
  • 00:23:16.050 --> 00:23:18.040
  • I said, "I did, I gave it away."
  • 00:23:18.040 --> 00:23:20.250
  • He said, "I know."
  • 00:23:20.250 --> 00:23:22.100
  • He reached in his pocket and he pulled out a check
  • 00:23:22.100 --> 00:23:24.280
  • that was 10 times the amount
  • 00:23:24.280 --> 00:23:28.170
  • of the check I'd just given away.
  • 00:23:28.170 --> 00:23:29.290
  • Now here's what I want you to remember.
  • 00:23:29.290 --> 00:23:31.130
  • It was an offering, not an honorarium.
  • 00:23:32.190 --> 00:23:34.120
  • It had dollars and cents on it.
  • 00:23:34.120 --> 00:23:36.020
  • The check I gave away had dollars and cents.
  • 00:23:37.200 --> 00:23:39.280
  • The check he held up had dollars and cents,
  • 00:23:39.280 --> 00:23:43.140
  • and this man's a member of our church
  • 00:23:43.140 --> 00:23:45.010
  • and has verified this story,
  • 00:23:45.010 --> 00:23:46.120
  • exactly 10 times the amount, exactly.
  • 00:23:46.120 --> 00:23:49.120
  • God gave them that amount before he came to church.
  • 00:23:49.120 --> 00:23:52.060
  • He held it out like this, and he's holding the top of it,
  • 00:23:52.060 --> 00:23:55.020
  • and I reached out, he said, "Here, take this."
  • 00:23:55.020 --> 00:23:58.210
  • I reached out and took the bottom,
  • 00:23:58.210 --> 00:24:00.200
  • but he wouldn't let it go.
  • 00:24:00.200 --> 00:24:01.290
  • (congregation laughing)
  • 00:24:02.280 --> 00:24:04.130
  • And I realized he wanted to impart something to me.
  • 00:24:04.130 --> 00:24:06.130
  • What I realized, let me say it this way I guess now,
  • 00:24:08.290 --> 00:24:12.020
  • I realized he wanted to say something.
  • 00:24:12.020 --> 00:24:13.280
  • I now know he wanted to impart something.
  • 00:24:13.280 --> 00:24:15.290
  • So I'm holding the bottom, there's a connection here,
  • 00:24:17.160 --> 00:24:20.170
  • he's holding the top, I looked across the top of that check
  • 00:24:20.170 --> 00:24:23.270
  • and he said to me, "God's about to teach you about giving
  • 00:24:23.270 --> 00:24:27.050
  • "so you can teach the body of Christ."
  • 00:24:27.050 --> 00:24:29.130
  • And he let the check go.
  • 00:24:30.150 --> 00:24:31.200
  • That was over 35 years ago,
  • 00:24:35.240 --> 00:24:37.120
  • but here's what I felt when he let that check go,
  • 00:24:38.240 --> 00:24:41.290
  • I remember thinking, "This is God's money.
  • 00:24:41.290 --> 00:24:45.180
  • "This isn't my money."
  • 00:24:48.040 --> 00:24:49.160
  • Now here's the amazing thing,
  • 00:24:49.160 --> 00:24:51.020
  • and this is what I want everyone watching,
  • 00:24:51.020 --> 00:24:54.000
  • everyone at home, everyone listening, I want you to catch.
  • 00:24:54.000 --> 00:24:56.290
  • It's all God's money.
  • 00:24:57.270 --> 00:24:59.030
  • There was a time when God said to Debbie and me,
  • 00:25:01.250 --> 00:25:04.070
  • "Will you give everything to me?"
  • 00:25:05.250 --> 00:25:07.150
  • He's actually asked us three times
  • 00:25:08.180 --> 00:25:10.240
  • to give it all, and by God's grace,
  • 00:25:12.270 --> 00:25:15.240
  • we've been able to do that.
  • 00:25:15.240 --> 00:25:17.140
  • But when you know that you're the steward,
  • 00:25:17.140 --> 00:25:21.170
  • not the owner, it's easy.
  • 00:25:21.170 --> 00:25:24.120
  • I want everyone in the body of Christ to understand.
  • 00:25:25.250 --> 00:25:30.170
  • We can be generous givers and we can be great stewards,
  • 00:25:30.170 --> 00:25:35.160
  • and God can give us so many resources
  • 00:25:36.210 --> 00:25:40.070
  • that we could bless people.
  • 00:25:40.070 --> 00:25:41.180
  • Let me pray for you.
  • 00:25:42.250 --> 00:25:44.010
  • Lord, I pray that every person watching
  • 00:25:44.010 --> 00:25:48.100
  • will have an impartation right now
  • 00:25:48.100 --> 00:25:51.150
  • of being a good steward and a generous giver,
  • 00:25:51.150 --> 00:25:55.100
  • in Jesus' name, amen.
  • 00:25:55.100 --> 00:25:58.260
  • Thank you so much for watching.
  • 00:25:58.260 --> 00:26:00.200
